As Kensington Wade moves into its fifth year, we are delighted to let you know of the expansion of the school leadership team that will be in place from September 2021.
Mrs Wallace will move into a new position as Principal of Kensington Wade; this will enable her to work more closely with the Executive Board while still being fully involved in the leadership and management of the school and ensuring that the culture and ethos of the school are maintained. We are happy to announce that Mrs Wallace will be supported by Mrs Suzanne Haigh who will move from her current post of Head of the Pre-Prep to Head of the School. Her talents are already well known by Kensington Wade parents who have witnessed her excellent teaching first-hand.
Mrs Haigh has a wealth of experience of London independent school education, recently as Deputy Head of Cameron House in Chelsea. She has taught for over 19 years, 13 years of which have been in school management and leadership. Mrs Haigh is fully conversant and engaged with the ethos and values of our school and has been working very closely in collaboration with Mrs Wallace throughout this year to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
Mrs Haigh will be joined in September by Ms Mary-Anne Malloy as Deputy Head of Kensington Wade and Year 4 teacher. Ms Malloy brings a wealth of experience and skill in preparing children for their 11+ assessments as well as having strong links with many local senior schools.
Wang Laoshi continues to lead the school’s Chinese programme, supported by Xiang Laoshi, and Assistant Heads Mr Lacey and Miss Bailey will support the leadership of the Pre-Prep and Prep classes.
