Kensington Wade, the UK’s only Mandarin immersion prep school, has once again demonstrated its excellence in Chinese language education by winning top awards at the Chinese Bridge UK Final, held at the Royal National Hotel in London.
The prestigious Chinese Bridge Mandarin Speaking Competition 汉语桥 celebrates young learners across the UK who excel in Chinese language and culture. This year, Kensington Wade pupils achieved outstanding results in both the Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) individual categories:
These achievements place Kensington Wade at the forefront of Mandarin education in the UK. The awards ceremony was attended by Wang Laoshi and our Head, Huw May, who was invited to give a speech celebrating the students’ success and the school’s commitment to bilingual learning.
Kensington Wade’s continued success in national competitions like Chinese Bridge reflects its pioneering approach to bilingual education, combining academic rigour with cultural fluency.
Congratulations to our talented pupils—and thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families for making this success possible!
