Well done to Eric, who won first place in the ISA Coding Competition 2026 for coding a game named ‘Scaredy Dog.’

This competition is encouraging pupils to explore their creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking through their coding skills.

Feedback from the judges:

First of all, what a competition! We want to extend an immense thank you to all of you incredible young creators for your project submissions. Each project had its own unique strengths which reflected the bright young minds behind them. And above all, the dedication and hard work behind each submission was evident.

There were so many projects submitted, many of which demonstrated a high level of proficiency and creativity to a degree that made it incredibly challenging for us to select winners. While judging was no easy task, please know that your dedication and talent did not go unnoticed.

Again we want to congratulate each and every one of you for your hard work, creativity, and passion. Keep on learning, pushing yourselves, and of course, creating!
