Head at More House to deliver next Education Matters Talk

23rd December 22

We’re looking forward to our next Education Matters Talk which will be given by the Head of More House School, Faith Hagerty, on Tuesday 7th February at 6.30pm on ‘Creative Thinking for a Changing World’.

As a passionate believer in the power of the arts, Faith will talk about the importance of creative thinking in schools. She will discuss the creative curriculum employed at More House, as well as analysing arts subjects as facilitators, focusing on the way in which art, music and drama cultivate emotional intelligence, empathy and self confidence, all vital skills in our changing world.

Faith Hagerty started her career as an actor, having completed a degree in Drama, Film and Television at the University of Bristol and a Post Graduate Diploma in Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She started out as a drama teacher in 2006 and cut her teeth as a middle and senior leader at St Augustine’s Priory, before taking on her first headship at More House School in March 2021.

As a Head, she is passionate about the power of the arts for all learners and sees arts subjects as facilitators. She also brings a creative approach to her leadership through exciting charity initiatives involving other schools such as last year’s hugely successful Strictly Heads dance competition and this year’s Strictly Headers football event.
