Year 1 explore the continents

Year 1 have been busy learning about continents in their geography topic. Yesterday they worked in small groups to explore the seven continents and researched lots of new and exciting facts! They then presented and taught their findings to the rest of the class. Great work Year 1!

Scarecrow Creations

As part of Year 4’s studies of the book ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’ they have been investigating what scarecrows are. They made some fantastic scarecrows of their own over the weekend which they have brought in to school today!

Reception visit the Tate Modern

3rd March 23

Reception had a lovely trip to the Tate Modern on Thursday. Guided by their teachers, they saw lots of different artworks and did some fantastic sketching of their own. As it was such a sunny day, they then had a walk along the river Thames to spot some of the famous landmarks of London.
